Job duties will include:
Network System Administration and Managing Remote Networks
- Schedule and perform system maintenance to ensure high availability of all components of software application and server environment by monitoring and maintaining system performance.
- Install, maintain and support a variety of software for faculty, staff and labs across multiple offices. Tasks involve deployment management of software and licenses using a variety of software management tools.
- Work with to maintain systems and network operations; monitor and analyze system and network traffic; keep records of denial of service attacks and prevents them when possible.
- Provide support to staff on issues on computing (hardware and software) systems and related instructional equipment.
- Capacity monitoring (Utilization, QoS, IP allocation, Port density, etc.) diagnostic and recommend remediation.
- Monitor and support multi-regions (including Cloud) network operations (DHCP, DNS, switches, routers, etc).
- Maintain software applications and operating systems to support regular network operations including DNS, DHCP, WINS, IPAM and Monitoring.
- Design, setup and configure network and security infrastructure for external partners and contract manufacturers.
- Maintain and audit asset inventory.
- Coordinate and scheduling outage for upgrade and patch Management.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose network, voice and security related issues.
- Design, setup and configure wireless infrastructure to support secure private corporate and guest internet access; Design, setup and configure Internet facing infrastructure (DNS, DMZ, VPN, etc.).
- Assist programming and application support staff in writing and debugging applications; assist users with questions and problems involving connection to host computers (servers).
- Develop procedures to assist Help Desk/Operations staff in operating the host systems; assist programming and applications support staff in writing and debugging applications.
- Assist management in evaluating new hardware and software products and in designing new servers and virtualized systems.
- Manage Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM and Integrations).
- Manage and maintain assigned systems and servers, including physical and virtual server environments in various operating systems.
Maintenance and Managing VoIP, Email and CRM
- Scheduling the Database Backup jobs, and testing recovering the Database backup’s
- Monitoring SQL Cluster performance, Network logs, cluster registry backup, as well as working on the Database connection management, Database space, and User administration.
- Manage asterisk server and VoIP phones in our offices.
- Manage Email Server and Desktop Clients.
- Manage Integration and support for a variety of events and meetings including phone, video conferencing (such as Zoom and Skype) and audio/visual technology setup and teardown.
- Update and manage the Customer Relationship Management system.
Manage Security
- Design and propose new solutions to improve performance and resiliency of current environment.
- Manage small projects to integrate new network designs into production
- Maintain security and integrity of the database and system Files including administering access security for hardware and Software.
- Ensure encryption of all servers and desktops
- Configure and manage firewalls.
- Update security patches and manage anti viruses.
