How Much An Average Tax Payer Makes ?

Don’t you wonder how much your Neighbors make or the guy in your office makes ?  I have no clue and i am not going to tell you even if I knew.

But I would like to share an interesting info-graphic I got from H&R Block.  Being one of the largest tax preparation firm in the United States, they have crunched the numbers and presented in very nice graphical format.  I thought of doing it myself but than why re-do something that is already done and who knows if my readers will like it or not.

So- Here are the basics

  • 70% of tax payers e-file. And yes, we can e-file your return.
  • 10 Million People file 1040 EZ
  • 30 Million People file 1040A
  • 60 Million People file 1040
